Besides being the perfect place to improve and develop your skills, sharing ideas with your peers and learning from the very best in the community. Codegarden is also all this:
Niels Hartvig - the founder of Umbraco - and friends will kick the conference off with a look at what the future holds for Umbraco.
Ask questions directly to the developers behind Umbraco and remember HQ will be around during the entire conference and you're always welcome to ask a question.
Codegarden sessions are a mixture of tech walkthroughs for developers and designers and solid case stories from leading agencies. All filled with solid knowlegde you can take home and apply tomorrow.
Codegarden is not all talk. Join the classroom workshops, roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty for in-depth half day workshops by the developers behind the software.
Hosted by Niels Hartvig and Per Ploug, the (in)famous Umbraco Bingo and dinner is an unmissable and frankly indescribable event.
The awards is a great opportunity to shine the spotlight on some of the great Umbraco work going on in our community with people using Umbraco in truly impressive ways.
Every year we honor the hardworking pillars of the Umbraco community. We are humbled by the amount of work that is being put into the project be it on the forums, pull-requests, packages, festivals, meet-ups and whatever else this wonderful bunch of people get up to.
The package competition is the community showcase for non-commercial Umbraco packages. Every year we are blown away by the fantastic expansions released for free by the friendliest community in the world. This is your time to shine.
Open space is our way of trying to make use of the gathering of so many Umbracians in one place. At Codegarden you are not just a passive participant, you get to put your passion on the agenda and contribute to the many discussions facilitated by the Open Space session.
Codegarden will, for the first time, be held at "Dok5000" in central Odense. Odense is just one hour by train from Copenhagen Airport, with plenty of cheap hotels and airbnbs, a great atmosphere and is the Umbraco HQ home turf!.
